Woodridge Elementary Raises Over $3,298 for Childhood Cancer Research Through Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Woodridge Elementary students, staff, and families rallied together once again to support a meaningful cause—and the results were incredible. Through this year’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser, the school raised a total of $3,298.50 to help fund childhood cancer research.
Since 2018, the 4th grade team at Woodridge Elementary School has proudly participated in Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, building a tradition that teaches students the importance of service, compassion, and making a difference in the lives of others.
This year’s efforts continued that powerful legacy as students helped run the lemonade stand, spread the word, and encourage donations—all while learning the impact of giving back. Their leadership, combined with the generosity of families and staff, helped raise funds that support research and bring hope to children and families facing childhood cancer.
Every dollar raised helps fund critical research and support families affected by childhood cancer. Woodridge Elementary is proud of its students for continuing to lead with kindness, generosity, and purpose.
