WHS Sources of Strength Students Participate in Peer Leadership Training

Twenty-four Woodridge High School students recently participated in the annual Sources of Strength (SOS) Peer Leadership Training, facilitated by WHS alumna Phoebe Boyd from Greenleaf Family Center.

The training introduced students to the background and mission of Sources of Strength. Through engaging activities, participants got to know one another, built connections, and began planning upcoming SOS campaigns.

Sources of Strength is a student-led club that spreads messages of Hope, Help, and Strength throughout the school and community. The program focuses on strengthening the relationships, resources, and other sources of support students can draw upon when challenges arise.

By building those connections early, SOS helps students recognize that they have people to turn to and strengths to help them navigate difficult times.
Thank you to Phoebe Boyd, Greenleaf Family Center, and our student leaders for helping create a supportive and connected Woodridge community!
